Review: A sweet but spiceless 'Sense'

In spite of a talented cast and attractive production values, TheatreWorks' production of Jane Austen's "Sense and Sensibility" never quite gets off the ground, failing to make an effective transition from page to stage.

I saw the play on Tues eve and completely concur with this review!

The problem with TheatreWorks is that it's ALWAYS all about the set and the costumes. I'd love to see them do something completely plot & character driven, but they won't. Mediocrity on wheels...
