Local schools top last year's test scores

Mountain View schools scored better than the statewide average on the California Standards Test, officials from both local districts reported.

Wow, no one wants to make a comment on this?

So I'll be the first to say congrats to the teachers, parents, kids, and administrators that make our school district the bee's knees.

Interesting how people here will jump on the bandwagon to bash the school district when money comes into play, but there's not a pip-squeak when it does well.

Oh well, can't cure the common complainer, I guess.
