Two dozen trees saved on El Camino

Late last year the city marked for removal 28 red oak trees planted in the 1970s on El Camino Real. The oaks were lifting and cracking sidewalks between Grant Road and Castro streets. The city was able to save all but three.

I was hoping they could save 24 trees, but I guess 2 dozen will have to do ;)
Sounds like they did a good measured evaluation and took the right actions. Good job to MV's Parks and Open Space folks.
