LOL, who!?! Probably part of the reason why I haven't been to Shoreline in the last 8 years.

I hope that the MVPD (City of MtnView) is getting extra bucks from the concert folks... No reason for MtnView people to pay the huge overtime costs of the cops...

Nice to see that you know how to spell "amphitheater" and "Wednesday", two words that were misspelled in the announcement Liz Wylie sent out. So proud that official Mountain View announcements have no fewer than three misspellings in one paragraph.

So proud that official Mountain View announcements have no fewer than three misspellings in one paragraph. Things must be pretty tight over at city hall if they can't even afford a spell checker. Maybe we need to take up a collection.

This article spells it two different ways - one sentence after another...? However, when you Google it - you will find both spellings there, too...?
...Shoreline Amphitheatre, according to police.
The Mountain View Police Department predicts traffic delays on highways 101, 85 and 237 as well as surface streets in the amphitheater...

The po'h po'h left me a voicemail at home yesterday afternoon about the possible traffic backup.
I didn't realize that the dude singer who sold out the amplitheeaturrr was a country rock star.
I guess it's time to cowboy up and get home before 101 turns into a parking lot.

@Cooter:
Amphitheater is the preferred spelling in American English. Shoreline uses the British spelling, which is amphitheatre. When using the entire proper name, we run it as Shoreline Amphitheatre, but on second reference to it, we use amphitheater.
It's the same for theatre and theater. "You want to go to a movie theater? Let's go to the Stanford Theatre."
Newspaper style generally follows the first spelling offered in the dictionary.

Last country concert had a bunch of drunken idiots driving up and down Castro... and getting out and using the storefronts as urinals.
So probably a good thing they warned everyone...
they even used the emergency message system over the phone as well...which seems like a waste of resources to me.

Drove through the 85 and 101 spot yesterday on my way home at 6pm and it was nice going.
Thanks to all the updates on the ramps, it was better than a normal week day for me. :)
