Advice for dumb criminals: you can't just tell any story and have it be believed. It has to fit the facts. It's always a mystery why folks like this expect to just be taken at their word no matter what they say. Does it have to do with how they were raised? Or are we just seeing the lower part of the curve here, people who have too little sense to ever succeed?

Jesse -

Why do you write 'Is this near the Day Worker Center' in a comment on all of these crime articles? I bet you know right where the Day Worker Center is. Stop trying to besmirch the Day Workers. It's dishonest.

Has anyone else noticed these repeated posts of 'Is this near the Day Worker Center' ?

Jesse and All - I did a quick search for 'near the Day Worker Center' and came up with all of these posts by Jesse, all asking 'Isn't that near the Day Worker Center?' All crimes articles.

@Margaret:

Yes, there are several of us who recognize Jesse's incessantly inane queries about the location of the Day Worker Center relative to where crimes are taking place.

Jesse, as an Internet-using adult in 2011, you should have enough mental faculties to do the research yourself whether or not Location A is close to Location B. (Hint: try using Google Maps, Yahoo Maps, Mapquest, etc.)

@ Steve - only about half of Mountain View is near the Day Worker Center. So, half of what goes on in Mountain View is near the place.

@Margaret -

Less than five percent of Mountain View is as near to the Day Worker Center as fifty percent of those reports.

They are all within 0.4 miles, the area in a 0.4 mile radius is 0.4 x 0.4 x 3.14 = 0.5, the area of Mountain View is 12 square miles 0.5/12 = 4.2%

100% truthful. Everyone knows that there are no people in that parking lot at 2am. And we all know that there's no other place to get help in MV so driving with a bullet in your leg all the way to Redwood City makes sense.

He should've used the tried and true "I was cleaning the gun and it went off" excuse.

I live one block from the Day Worker Center and there is NO unruly activity in our neighborhood at night! "Near" the DWC in actually at least 3 blocks, long ones, in these cases. Get over yourself Jesse! You are the kind of bigot who should move to a desert island! The Day Workers are working hard to be legal and a productive part of the community.

Haven't you noticed the young people shooting at others and most of those who are the target of their bullets have Reptilian brians? Their brain is only capable of processing the most fundamental of life sustaining functions; i.e., breathing, eating, walking, etc. but nothing more, e.g., logical thoughts.

Yeah, Jesse is really annoying! Why don't we take Jesse to the Day Worker Center? Jesse won't have to ask again where it is. I think Jesse is acting like a bigot and/or idiot! Are you tired of this already?;>

Jesse is no doubt laughing real hard about all this. Maybe Margaret could list the countless articles about the DWC that appear in the Voice over any other topics of substance.
