Caltrain to mount cameras on front of trains

Video cameras mounted on the fronts of locomotives could be installed by Caltrain in August, pending a clarification of how the recordings would be saved or retained, the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board voted on Thursday (July 7).

It sould be possible to go after the estate of the perp for the clean-up and wasted time it causes.

The legal fees may already be approaching $1.5 million. The level of judgement is approaching zero.

No matter what, it is about time the trains will be mounted by cameras. If these suicide attempters happen to survive, by all means prosecute them.
