I don't see one single name on that recipient list that tells me a Caucasian kid benefited from this program. With the insane cost of living, and the number of single family homes in Mountain View and Los Altos, I find it hard to believe that at least one white family did not apply??? And I anyone say's "Of course white families applied.........", then tell me, why wasn't any scholorship $$ awarded to them??

Your point is well taken but you fail to understand Multicultural Marxism, which is about dividing cultures along race, gender and wealth so that a well organized minority can control the majority. Recognizing a few at the expense of many and forcing the masses to squabble over the crumbs takes your eyes off the bigger prize - instituting socialism throughout our culture. Socialism fails miserably in a free market economy but thrives in the cultural institutions exempt from competative market forces.

Kudos to Michelle Reichert on her dedicated service in solving one of society's vexing problems for young promising people, no money for college.

I hope that this program is emulated and duplicated across the country and world.

I think that kids should get scholarships based on their achievements, not their family income. It isn't easy for middle income families to afford to send kids to college either. I'm tired of kids with low income parents getting everything handed to them on a silver platter (that I earned and used to be mine). They get free meals at the schools, school supplies, daycare, medical, food stamps, money for college... I'm tired of paying other people's way. I feel bad for them, but I need to be able to take care of myself and my family first. I can't take care of everyone in the United States and around the world. Give me a break. Socialism makes everybody poor.
