That place is a cesspool.

Obviously the brothers were neglected as children and consequently developed no manners and compassion.

Any bar named "The Alibi" is a automatically a criminal cesspool by definition.

Violence and alcohol are unfortunately joined at the hip in far too many cases. Its an extremely dangerous and toxic substance and
this alcohol dispensary (The Alibi) is one of the worst in town.

The Alibi has made a total turnaround in the last few years since the new owners, who renamed Ugly's, began removing all of the trouble making regulars. The trouble has nothing to do with the Alibi and everything to do with the Abebe brothers.

"The trouble has nothing to do with the Alibi and everything to do with the Abebe brothers"
Actually, I think it has to do with the Abebe brtothers on alcohol.

Why is this seedy place allowed to be in business in the first place? It's way too close to McKelvey park and the many kids who play there daily.

Were is the correct term here, I was arrested, you were arrested, they were arrested. See the difference?

Everytime I have visited the Alibi it has been a peaceful and fun place to be.. It seems to me, the only time there is problems is when people that don't frequent the place start trouble. And I'm sure they do the same anywhere they go.. So it is very unfortunate they blame this on the Alibi...

Would you say "The pigs was sold" or "the pigs were sold"?
How about "The pigs is sold" or "the pigs are sold"?

@ Dave and Grammar Police ... the correct term is "WAS" not "were". The WAS is associated with "PAIR" not "brothers". PAIR is singular, not plural, hence "WAS" is correct. "The pigs" is plural so "were" is appropriate, but your comparison is not. Shame on you grammar police, you should know better.

Good catch for the good guys. It's also pretty ignorant to blame the bar for these brothers actions. I've seen worse that this at much nicer places. What you're doing is the same as blaming a car for an accident.

Alibis is just a dive bar on El Camino frequented by 20-something suburban white kids. A couple of Ethiopians show up and cause some trouble. No biggie. The are far worse bars in the area.

Yes, the instances of violence do seem to happen a lot at alcohol dispensaries. Violence and alcohol sadly go hand in hand.
Its interesting though, that police chiefs in SF, LA and SJ have all stated that they have seen no increase in crime due to marijuana dispensaries operating in their cities...for over a decade.
Some facts are inconvenient to those who's minds are already closed on an issue though.
