Google's growth spurt shapes city

With the economy in recovery, Google is poised for a period of major growth in Mountain View and may soon leave its mark on the city's landscape with several new buildings.

I hope Google decides to lease the former Nokia buildings on Fairchild Drive as well. We could definitely use the "Google Effect" in the neighborhood.

Since there are no more available Class A office complexes in the city, Mountain View should implement some sort of incentive to make property owners with smaller, older office buildings that are just sitting empty because they've become obsolete be more willing to partner up with neighboring owners and combine and redevelop their properties into larger Class A office spaces.
