I think you mean 100 megabits per second instead of 100 megabytes.

If a church wants to operate like a business, they should pay taxes like a business.

AT&T needs to install a cell phone tower on San Pierre Way. Somehow my AT&T cell phone does not get a signal in my house. And when I do, I can not hear the person I am talking with. So please a cell phone tower on San Pierre Way...

"What about radiation?"
Few realize how pervasive that problem is. Radio-frequency emitters of all kinds, all portable Internet appliances, distant TV and radio transmitters, incidental corona discharge from neighborhood power lines, car ignition systems, light bulbs, flames, fireplaces -- yes, even your own body -- all radiate nonionizing electromagnetic power constantly. It's a dangerous universe ...

I'm neutral on these "improvements". If the local residents "need" this kind of service then they must accept the consequences.
Personally, I rely on the Federal Postal Service and I don't think they use this stuff.

"If a church wants to operate like a business, they should pay taxes like a business."
---------------------
This is not about the churches. Churches are being sought out by companies like ATT because they offer line of sight utilizing an existing structure (church steeple) that can easily mask a cell antennae/repeater.
However, if you prefer to have a new cell tower erected in plain view that will be taller than the surrounding neighborhood, that is the other option.

"What about radiation?"
-------------------
Which one? Are you referring to:
1. Radiation from devices in your home? (cordless phone, tv remotes, cell phones, glow-in-the-dark watches, PG&E meters, etc....)
2. Cosmic radiation
3. Terrestrial radiation (Radon)
4. Radiation from the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant
5. All the above

Without being more specific as to the source AND intensity of the radiation you are referring to, there's a good chance your statement will be interpreted as fearmongering.
