Is M.V. issuing munis to finance projects, or has issued recently? If so, of what kind, and what are their ratings?

OMG to use a current term of "What the H- - -.
How can our council even begin to think about most of those projects... Have they no friggen idea that it is time to quit the spending binge? 1.5 million for grass or astro-turf for a school yard? Skateboard park ??? ($24,000), etc.... Money for obesity studies ?? Spend money to decide how to get MORE revenue from the taxpayers.... EGADS... I hope someone or group gets together and takes over the control of the city. PLEASE spend your time of ways to CUT spending.. We don't need a mini-Nanny State in our town.

When driving downtown, the only time I take Castro is driving south on Central and making the right turn. Otherwise, I almost always use other roads. 101-shoreline. 85N/280-evelyn. Downtown already seems well set up should that crossing be closed to vehicles.

I hope the Council doesn't decide to close off Castro Street at Central Expressway. The analogy of having a Berlin Wall-like structure cut the city in half and cutting off access would come true then.
