Bay Area students explored aircraft like this C-130 Hercules turboprop at NASA Ames Research Center on April 8 at Yuri's Education Day. About 6,000 students participated in tours and hands-on educational activities, including building model rockets, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human to travel in space.
