Where are all the copy editors in the news reporting business these days? Is our society in such a hurry to get the news out, than no one spell or grammer checks any more??

Copy editors have been largely disposed with due to cost and time factors. Spell check is treacherous, sometimes providing the correct spelling of the wrong word.

Re: "spell checker's" submission, as I've indicated in the past, I envision anti-social recluses huddled over their keyboard in a darkened room pecking out gibberish, oak anonymously. How heroic!!
(What did you characters do before "spell check? Pathetic.)
