In the wake of the Japanese disaster, do you think nuclear power is a good idea in the United States?

All power sources have their drawbacks. eg Water: Colorado river no longer ends into the Gulf of California (only a tiny bit reaches the Gulf). Its water is used up -upstream. Natural gas and Petroleum contribute to global warming. Solar energy requires covering up large tracts of land. None of them are perfect.
