Lincoln's birthday isn't coming soon. It was Feb 12. Washington's birthday is coming soon.
But the kid was only 3.

I cannot lie... the toddler can be excused for not knowing my birth day, but Barrack's handlers should have used Moffett Field rather than SFO. What a mess.

I have to agree with "Honest Abe". Why not use Moffett as it is ideally suited for such things and is much easier to secure than one of the biggest airports in the world. It was used by Bill Clinton and other important people and probably worked out very well. Even though it isn't an active military installation it offers a perfect place for these purposes. I wonder what the cost difference would be between tne two? Does our government have to pay the costs associated with using airports that the airlines do, such as landing fees, aircraft parking and servicing, extra security costs and other things airlines and private aircraft pay, or do the entities that control the airport absorb the cost? What about fuel cost? I would think it would save lots of money to do these things at govenment facilities. Either way, I hope the President got some commitments from his dinner companions that will help the average American and not just keep on leaving us wondering how we will pay our bills or someday retire.

He could have taken five minutes to call the "royal family" of Bahrain and made them an offer they couldn't refuse on dealing with the uprising. He is scum, he is Bush III. The Fifth Fleet is going to have to find a new place to park. I suggest Alameda.
