NASA seeks $32.8 million for Hangar One rehab

NASA is requesting $32.8 million to restore iconic Hangar One at Moffett Field, potentially ending a long battle over its preservation.

It would be terrific if the Hanger could be restored. It would also be terrific if Moffett with the help of NASA/Ames could set up the south end of the campus to host events at the Hanger the way one would at an arena or collisium. The Fed should allow the Navy and the city of Mountain View to issue BONDS for the public to purchase, perhans 10 and 20 year bonds at 5% interest in $1,000 increments. I'd invest in this most definitely if non-callable FDIC insured bonds were issued to fund it. People nationwide might as well.
