Crash blocks lanes on Highway 101

A multi-vehicle crash blocked lanes of northbound U.S. Highway 101 in Mountain View for about 45 minutes this morning, a California Highway
Patrol officer said.

Can MVPD issue tickets to reckless/speeding drivers on that portion of 101 that runs through our town? This could be a real cash cow, and a true service to the general public.

Only the Highway Patrol and the Santa Clara county sheriff can issue tickets on 101. It's outside of MVPD jurisdiction
Honestly, I would much rather have MVPD focusing on fighting crime than issuing tickets
