Never a cab when you need one

Neither cabbies nor neighbors nor commuters seem happy with a recent city move preventing taxi drivers from parking in the Caltrain parking lot while they wait for a fare, prompting officials to look into the situation.

The cab drivers at the Mountain View Caltrain station are crooks. They pretend they do not have change, especially when the passengers are elderly. They also drive them around the block before they let the passengers off.

There is a serious issue with cabs in this region. Can local politicians please deal with this regionally?
It is outrageously costly to take a taxi from SFO down here. Then, the taxi is filthy, in disrepair, and driver driving dangerously while on cell phone (this comment from a recent experience)
This contrasts with experiences in many other metropolitan areas
