"[Eshoo] said has contributed to a climate of violence that resulted in the shooting of 18 people"
I am absolutely disgusted by politicians and pundits who have tried to push their political agenda in this tragedy.
Even the leftist rag, the San Francisco Chronicle, is admitting the shooter was just a plain nut job.

There should at least be a federal grand jury convened to see if Sarah Palin should be indicted for inspiring capital murder.

There should at least be a federal grand jury convened to see if MSNBC, NY Times, and NPR are on the DNC payroll.

How to identify someone who neither reads the NYT nor listens to NPR in one easy step...

If this tones down the rhetoric, whether it was the CAUSE of this nut going on a shooting rampage or not, it will be of benefit to everyone. People screaming at each other without listening is a surefire way to get absolutely nothing of value done - and in the REAL world, not an ideological paradise for either side - it's cooperation, listening and making compromises that will get us ALL ahead in the end. Both sides are guilty of polemic (Sarah Palin isn't the only who's used bullseye or target maps - see Web Link to look at Democratic Party maps of the same sort), and it's time to tone it down for everyone. Get rid of the stupidity of anger, use rational and logical thinking, and solutions will actually be found.

While the shooting of the Congresswomen is sad and was tragic. it is ironic that the emergency room doctors who saved her life are the same ones that will suffer under Obamacare that Rep Eshoo also supports.

eric - if I did not read NYT or listen to NPR then I wouldn't have known about their disgusting attempt to parlay the shooting into political points.

Yet more evidence that this was not due to politics.
