$10,000 reward offered for armed-robber info

A $10,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of the man who is committing armed robberies in Palo Alto has been offered by City Manager James Keene, police announced Friday.

Geez, it sounds like the police should just track who is buying all those dark sweatshirts and baseball caps - can't these criminals at least be a bit more creative in their dress?
;-)
Okay, just joking, but it is SO sad to hear of these crimes being committed at such an alarming rate. I'm assuming they might be related to the drug problems so prevalent today - perhaps that is the place to start when trying to end these?
How sad that a few people can create such a violent and unsafe atmosphere in such a seemingly safe area.
