I'm sure it's 80. I don't see how you could make a enormous bag full of gas move at 800 miles per hour.

Too bad none of the airship companies want to keep their airships in Hangar One. I can understand why they wouldn't want to get mixed up with all its maintenance issues, though.

There's a lot of buildings and structures near the opening ends of Hangar-1, potential hazards the airship could strike that weren't there so many decades ago when it was used for the Macon. Hangar-2 has LOTS of open hardtop space at either end, both lengthwise and laterally, and so is a more ideal location for their operations, especially on some of the breezy days I've seen them fly.

I'd rather see Hangar-1 cleaned up and then turned into an aviation museum, Smithsonian-style, with aircraft displayed on the deck AND suspended above in sumulated flight...Wouldn't that be awesome?

It would be awesome if Hangar One could become an aviation museum. The Hiller Air Museum would be perfect. I suppose they'd need about 25 times their current endowment, though.
