Faster weekend trains will be welcome, but there have also been frequent "public requests" for later Southbound trains on Friday and Saturday nights. Currently, the last Southbound train from SF leaves at midnight, which is frequently too early for those people who are spending a Friday or Saturday evening up in the City. At least one later train (e.g., at 1am or 2am) would likely be popular.
