Can our school districts absorb so many new students, especially when new housing is an a redevelopment tax area (i.e. no property taxes going to schools)? Do the planners even realize that there is no public school on that side of 101 and that the high schools are even further .... South of El Camino?
Schools and parks planning seem to be sorely missing here...

Good question. I wonder if they can exclude the rezoned areas from the redevelopment area.

Mountain View has currently 65,000 homes?
But it has a population of approx. 73,000.
Thus, there are 1.12 people per home?
Is this correct? Most homes in Mountain View are single person homes?
Could you have meant that there have been there are homes for 65,000 people and there will be homes for 89,000 under the plans if developed.
Ir are they really proposing building 24,000 more homes in mountain views.
