Bikes, iPod stereo stolen

Two bicycles and an iPod stereo was stolen from a detached garage in the 2100 block of Leland Avenue sometime between the night of Nov. 15 and the morning of Nov. 16.

I can't wait until GPS technology evolves to where we can insert small chip into our valuables and then be able to track their whereabouts.
Could you imagine the opportunities? Put a tiny chip in the seat tube
of your bike and then just show up at the swap meet with the cops.
Someone has got to be working on this right? I'll buy it

Good idea! I think there should be no tolerance for theives. I'm so sick of this. There is no excuse for stealing somebody else's stuff. Cut a hand off.

I don't know if 2100 Leland ave is an apartment complex or an indepedent house. if it is an apartment complext, it is definitely the job of one of the other tenants living there. People are watching for oppts to steal. Times are tough and young people are on the prowl for things. Lock your door/car/garage even if you step out for few mins. Don't think that you are living in a safe and secure neighborhood.
