It is good I read this site! No one mentioned this at all in the hospital and I need to get paid!

Innovation? the concept of automated payroll is neither new or future thinking. It has been many years that employees of the hospital have requested computerized payroll and time scheduels. Requests from staff and managers to automate payroll have been dismissed. Manual Time cards have consumed all departments for the past 40+ years. It is alled time card Monday and the system has never been updated until now. The same hospital leadership guilty of losing money is now paying millions to become efficient! Most other area hospitals and businesses in general have had automated, compujterized time systems for many years. why the sudden advertising of innovation when it demonstrates a lag in being progressive? We employees have requested this for many years. Kudos for making the change but why so late in the game?

This would be the same hospital that Popular Science said was the most technologically advanced hospital in the world?

"..cost $1.9 million dollars upfront, but save the organization money in the long run- and improve patient care". COME ON..improving patient care has always been the priority of The Nursing Staff at ECH. It's an insulting smokescreen to use that as excuse for introducing a time card machine. And all the other features at ~$200,000 a year. Hire three more qualified RNs instead.
