Ha ha! That's the most eloquent and concise summary of this article that I can imagine. Thanks.
They have less than 10% of their required funds. So they'll blow that 10% on laying track in the boondocks. Hopefully when that's done, they'll have a real plan with competent management to handle the rest of this boondoggle.

Burt..we are going to get this built up to SF..stop your fearmongering..Im glad it going to start in the Valley far nicer people than the arrogant NIMBYS that moved next to the Caltrain line the last 20 years and when the everone sees real HSR its you people that will be the Boondoggles!!!
