That would a traffic collision. They occur everyday. Is this your first time seeing police and fire trucks out helping someone?

Umm, thank you for your ...informative response. First time I've seen a mangled bike in the middle of such a scene. It was a very upsetting sight to see, and I feared someone might have been gravely injured or dead. But I guess I should have chalked it up as "just another daily traffic collision" and went on my merry way. Oh how trivial of me to even mention it.
