'Sunday Arts' kicks off with dance, films

"Sunday Arts Live" will be held in the Center for Performing Arts at 500 Castro St. and begins at 1:30 p.m. It will feature films produced by the Freestyle Academy, dances by Grupo Folklorico Los Laureles (Mexican folkloric), Halau Na Wai Ola (Hawaiian) and Kaisahan (Filipino), and Oriki Theater (African drums).

As a part of "Sunday Arts Live", Peninsula Youth Theater will be performing at Centennial Plaza at 11:30-- right by the farmers market. They'll be performing select songs from this years Center Stage season. Come support these talented kids!
