Gangs? In Mountain View? Impossible.

Blasted Canadian gangs!

These Canadian gangs have been operating in the bay area for years. Whenever their accent gives them away, they claim to be students from Minnesota.

Thanks MVPD for being there and arresting these gang members. Too bad they were not adults to give them some real time in prison.

Prison – where they'll be rehabilitated ? Great work by MVPD though!

Little punks. Lock em up and throw away the key. They deserve an introduction to some other inmates, then we'll see how tough they are.

Duh... Why in the world would anyone walk on that trail at 11:30 PM ? Not that he was "asking " for it, but jeeze... be aware of your surroundings ALWAYS.

YES, treat them as adults. Good work MVPD. How about an award for the "friend" that helped the trail walker to the hospital. We need to encourage public help.

Hi Geor - As to why people walk or bike late on the trails? Have you looked at the busboy, the waitperson, the staff who serve people in downtown MV until at least ten o'closk at night? Many people do not have cars, and they walk or ride to jobs and are coming home from work. Yes, people need to be aware of their surroundings but there are "night commuters" as well as day commuters.

Gangbangers are cowards. Plain and simple. Anyone that uses a weapon is a coward. I hope these thugs get charged as adults. They want to pose as adults, treat them as adults. Maybe once they meet their new BFF and have a taste of that life in prison, they come out wanting nothing to do with the thug life.

Does anyone patrol the SC Trail at night? Seems each Sat/Sun morning there's new gang graffiti, party cups, bottles and other trash on the benches and don't get me started on the areas filled with human feces brought to you by the VERY OBVIOUS homeless population along the creek. The citizenry is good at patrolling during the day, but MVPD, we need your help for the problem at night. I would imagine a couple of quite cops on bikes could make a big impact each weekend night. MVPD we need your help!
