Police close downtown street to search for alleged gunman

A portion of Villa Street running through downtown was shut down Monday, Sept. 27, after a man called police saying he had shot a woman and was hiding in a dumpster. Police now believe the caller may have been a prankster, on drugs, mentally disturbed or perhaps all three.

The call itself lasted 2.5 hours, from 12:30 to almost 3:00 PM, and AT&T still haven't traced the caller's location? Every crime drama I've ever seen is wrong. Also, the caller must not have been using an iphone, or the call would have dropped in 2.5 minutes!
