High Speed Rail be be the way to go. However, the decision should be based on realistic rider projections and costs, including inflation. For Peninsula residents, the potential impact on our cities is huge. The HSR Authority is going full speed ahead without adequately considered these issues. Mountain View, and all other affected cities should band together as a group to compel a re-evaluation.

Stop the HSR! A total waste! I garantee a project of this magnitude will
a) Go WAY over budget
b) Take WAY longer to complete
c) NOT add value to time and cost savings for traveler
d) Impact the environment in a capacity much bigger than any reports will tell you
e) Be way noisier, life impacting, housing value impacting on everyone in the penisula.
Worst idea ever.

HSR is going to happen or not, without regard to this lawsuit. The result---IF it goes-- will be MP and PA get what they want, and MV will get screwed by our passive council.
