Arnold wants the world to come to Moffett Field

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has been touring Shanghai since last week in an effort to increase collaboration among Chinese and California businesses, announced Sunday that California will bid to host the 2020 World Expo in the Bay Area -- specifically Moffett Field.

They seem to have buy-in from some local groups and the state. Did anybody ask the feds? Even if we start paying our dues, if they don't want the development then it won't happen. They own the land after all.

Isn't it nice to know he won't be back? I don't see Moffett Field hosting anything of this magnitude.

Hey this area needs ferry service as well as Vallejo, SF, etc that already have ferry service. Ferry service would work well at Shoreline Park. What better way to get the cars off the roadways and freeways. Then the service would be ready for the World Expo in 2020.
If I wanted to go to SF or Vallejo and not in my car, I could take a ferry boat.
This is something else the city council can consider and vote on...
