Tonight: Council discusses shopping center proposal

In a 5 p.m. study session tonight the City Council will discuss an updated proposal from Merlone Geier Partners for a large portion of San Antonio shopping center which includes over 300 apartments and space for three major retailers, not including numerous smaller shops, a Safeway and a Rite Aide.

And just *where* is the parking going to be?

It hardly looks like it could support several parking garages without being *severely* crowded. And who in their right mind would want to actually *live* there? Thumbs down.
