Far fewer Mayfield homes in new plan

In an ironic twist caused by the recession, the controversial high-density Mayfield housing development has been significantly scaled back by a new developer.

This is absolutely fantastic news. This project sounds like it will fit in well with the existing neighborhood, and it is great to see the site being put to good use. HP has done a great job keeping up the site despite it's vacancy, but time has come for this project, I think. Summit Land Partners sound like reasonable developers, and I don't see how Monta Loma could come out of this much better than what it sounds like these guys are offering.
