El Camino Hospital has been using it's money (i.e., our tax money) to finance a day worker center. This center is allegedly used to help illegal aliens obtain jobs by employers who do not want to pay employment taxes and social security taxes and their undocumented workers do not pay their income taxes.
The solution is simple, tell the laid off medical professionals to go the day worker center, renounce their citizenship and get construction jobs.

California is going down and fast....

The top executives cut down staff to preserve their top tier salaries. The unions fight back to protect the dollars they make out of union dues. It's all about the money folks. And a not for profit hospital like El Camino is no exception. But that's where the rub is. Do we really want to socialize health care and other services for that matter? Let's keep talking.

An example of the extreme waste and arrogance of the El Camino Hospital Administration is the staffing of the El Camino Hospital Newsroom. Let's see: There is Chris Ernst, Sr. Director Corporate Communications; Don Frances, Media Relations Manager, and Judy Twitchell, Communications Manager. They also hire outside spokesman at times. What exactly do these people do that actually helps patients? All three could be fired, and the residents of the Hospital District would be better off. I used to think Don Frances was an honest guy when he was with the Mountain View Voice. Now I just think he'll spout off any nonsense, whether true or not. "He who pays the piper calls the tune!" The administration hired these lackeys to help justify their extravagant salaries, bonuses, and raises. They should all be put on a bus out of town!

The question that need to be asked is what can be done about it?
Do we need to organize a town hall meeting to address this problem? To get the process started to reduce salaries and retirement packages at city hall do we need to organize and hold "Tea Party" demonstrations?
