The only good way to stop this project is to repeal the proposition that passed in 2008 by 2%. This 100B unneeded drain on the tax payers should be canceled by a new proposition.
There are several airlines that can get us much faster to LA competing for our business today with no new taxes.
Repeal this project!

$100B? I thought it was $40B.
You could buy all of United Airlines *and* American Airlines *and* Continental Airlines for under $10B. Toss in Southwest and Jet Blue and you're still under $20B.
