Hmmm... "at grade" ... "in trench" ... guess which one they are going to pick?

Ah correct,we have a winner--> at grade. They are going to shove this down our throats in the most destructive way possible because our useless city council is dazzled with the possibility of having a terminal named after them. Even the thought of having to tear down everything in the Castro St. area for parking for the terminal does not bother them. After all, by then they will have moved to Palo Alto or Atherton, where the City Councils are fighting this tooth and nail.

The only glimmer of hope is that the California voters will repent their free-spending ways and turn down the next $10 billion installment that the HSR "Authority" will request. Then this whole thing will hopefully die.

In the mean time, we can do our little bit by voting down all the incumbents running for City Council in the November election.
