Well you finally got his name right but the Pavilion in San Jose where the restaurant was located was on the other side of 87, not on top of what is now the San Jose Arena.

Yes Chewbacca, you got it! THAT is the most important part of the story. Good thing you are reading and telling us the location of where the restaurant USED TO BE.

I was also a little bit thrown by the reference to "Steve Guasch", since I always thought his name was Vince. I was a big fan of his Louisiana Territory restaurant in the Olive Tree shopping center on El Camino, which is now Amber India.

It's good to see that Cajun food is experiencing a resurgence in the area and that Mr. Guasch has been successful with his catering business, PSRT. They prepared at very nice paella at the St. Joseph International Festival back in May. Thanks to Vince Guasch for continuing to share his culinary talents in the South Bay Area.

Thanks readers for submitting your comments. The restaurant did indeed move down to the Pavilion Shops in San Jose, which was downtown between 1st and 2nd streets. We decided to leave the location part of the story as is, since that part wasn't a focal point of the story.
