Public Castration is the proper solution for someone who would besmirch our fine trail.

I'm waiting for someone to blame it on illegal immigration as everything gone wrong lately is blamed on illegals.

Lesson learned; don't leave home without your cell phone.

No female should ever jog without a phone nor without a partner. Trails such as S.Creek Trail are natural hideouts for predators. Jeeze ladies, get a clue.

Aside from legal issues, how was anyone "hurt" by this "crime?" It's a bit strange for someone to violate society's rigid morals around sex, they must have been in a lot of pain. A more compassionate, results-focused society would have gotten him help, not punishment. In any case, the woman was not hurt. If she found herself horrified, hysterical, or fearful, that was really her choice, now, wasn't it?
To Mr. Advice who advocated castration, I'm sure there's a nice country like Iran that practices your self-righteous approach to justice. However, they might chop your head off, since you seem to use it in much the same way as the guy indecently exposing his private parts does.

I heard this occurred on the trail just north of Whisman. I would not travel alone on this section of the trail.

Unfortunate. Thanks to the police grabbing is dirtbag. Yes, he clearly needs help and "looking for it" on the trail should be punished.
Seer, emotional pain does not have to be physical to be imposed. Suggesting that it is the victim's fault because she was bothered by it while walking down the SC trail is like blaming her for her skirt being too high and that's why she was raped. Following your logic, why not make the public sidewalk in front of your house a welcome place for creeps to expose themselves and masturbate toward your house for you, your wife, and kids to tolerate while they get help.
I'm a man and I non-hysterically don't like ilk in the bushes when I walk the trail, let alone in plain site.
