City kicks off Thursday Night Live events

Mountain View's summer activities are back with a bang this year, beginning with the first Thursday Night Live tonight, July 8. Every other Thursday between 5 and 9 p.m. during July and August, Castro street will be a venue for live music, a Farmer's Market and family activities, sponsored by the Central Business Association.

Castro street between California and Villa should be made a pedestrian area permanently, not just during special events like Thursday night live.

I agree. Close the street. A great event and great music last night.
