Council struggles with its position on high-speed rail

Council members were clearly concerned about the message they are sending as they discussed making official comments to the California High Speed Rail Authority.

Curt Pringle is a member of the California High Speed Rail Authority Board. For all I know, he may also be a secret lobbyist against High Speed Rail, but that seems unlikely.
Mr. Pringle is also the Mayor of the City of Anaheim. Turns out that undergrounding High Speed Rail is entirely possible in Anaheim....

Compared to PA, the MV council shows up a day late and a dollar short. Great job.
