Great article. Alta usually gets left out of all school stuff in M.V., but this was very enlightening. Thank you.

Alta has been around since I was an MVHS grad 20 years ago.

Those grads should be proud of themselves. But they should also realize they got a big break in being able to continue their education at Alta and that from this point forward, they aren't going to get those sorts of breaks.

And that it doesn't get easier from here. Now they are adults and going to have to face the adult world, where there is no Alta to catch them when they start to fall.

Good luck to them all.

Substitute any high school for "Alta" and it's pretty much the same advice to all grads.

Except the whole kids going to Alta part and catching a break on that, which doesn't apply to any other grads, much less 'all' of them.
