The B-17 and B-24 were the workhorses of the army air force particularily in the European theatre, and they are a sight to behold and hear as they fly overhead. We did the daylight bombing during the war and suffered many losses due to the flak and Me109 German fighters. Our airman were often very young, late teens to early twenties and the bombers were unpressurized and freezing. We owe a lot to these American warriors and I will definitely salute when they fly overhead. God bless America

I took my kids to see the planes last weekend and it was a lot of fun. It's amazing to see how these 66 year old planes are still flying and I'm sure many volunteer hours must have gone into the restoration of them.
It was also sobering to see how dangerous and cramped the lives of crew members on these bombers must have been. We owe them, and anyone else who served in the wars to make the world safe for democracy, our thanks.

should be less than 12 $ just to look at planes, there already selling rides for 3200$ what more do they want.

I looked at them for free when they flew over my house. What more to YOU want?

I want the F-4 Phantom flight experience. For free of course since I'm a special snowflake.

I went up in the B-17 a couple years ago and at $450, I think it was a great value for an incredible experience. $3200 gets you a whole hour in the P51 Mustang. I think $12 is reasonable for crawling around in the planes, seeing as they fly all the way from Connecticut to be here and av-gas unfortunately does not flow from your garden hose. The Collings Foundation has done an incredible job at preserving living history and I am proud to support their efforts.
