Yes, spend 3 times as much money on your PG&E bill! How does that make any sense at all? Also, the thing is so flimsy and light--a coffin on wheels for even a minor accident. But then again, environmentalist don't like human life. Its not important to them at all. Just the aunts and the grashoppers that matter to them. What about all that battery acid? Yes, they will wake up one days and say that is what is wrecking the environment. Kind of like the paper bags at the store. Save a tree they said and use plastic. Then it was back to paper. Now they don't want you to have a bag at all. These people are crazy weirdos. Electric cars are a stupid idea. Save them for the golf course. Buy gas. Get a nice, big safe car for your family. How about and Expedition or Suburban?

Some one needs to read up what is an electric car. Not electric cart. The Leaf, Volt or even Tesla are real cars with all the safety requirement of a gas vehicle. Electric cost is $1.00 per charge or $30 per month. Battery acid? E cars have the latest cells similar to laptop computers. The problem currently is the cost as is any new technology. Flat screen TV, PC, DVD all were expensive until the technology become common.
