CHAC property swap nearly a done deal

It's "99 percent sure" that a plan to trade the Community Health Awareness Council's building on Church Street for a larger building will go through, according to executive director Monique Kane.

Where is the first block of Church Street and what kind of complex?

Wow, that's really exciting news for CHAC. They appear as though they could use more space and it's exciting that someone came along and offered them a larger location, mortgage-free.

I remember when St. Joseph sold that building, which was a convent for religious sisters. I was suprised when I heard the price they paid it was really low. It is on the corner of Hope and Church just across the street from St. Joseph Church. I'm happy that they enjoyed the being in that building.
