Unfortunately, surveys have shown that it's the COST of broadband keeping it out of so many households, not availability or speed. What good will a faster connection be if it still cost $50 a month or even more?

What are the providers doing to bring prices down? I figured by the end of the decade that we'd have broadband for $20 per month by now, as more people subscribed to it. Instead, it keeps going UP.
