I live near the Blossom Hill CalTrain Station and I had no problem with the raised volume on CalTrain Horns. It must have been in the College Park area where most people complained, because there is a big building near the Santa Clara CalTrain Station, and I bet they complained. So, let's hope CalTrain keeps it at a lower volume for now, but i was assuming they needed to raise the horn volume, so that cars and people near grade crossings can hear the train coming from a farther distance away from the location so the cars and pedestrians can get away quicker. We needed the horn raised, due to several CalTrain accidents around the Bay Area. So, we should raise the horn again so CalTrain can cause less accidents.
