I bet the council members who chose to spend millions on the Stevens Creek trail feel silly now that they will have to cut funds for some items important to all the citizens of Mountain View rather than a walk for a small group of people some who are not from Mountain View .

Was any general fund money spent on the Stevens Creek Trail? I thought that it came from the parks-in-lieu fund and the North Bayshore fund, neither of which has a budget deficit.

I think the sad fact about the Steven's Creek trail is that not only is it convenient for a small group of people but that the bicyclists have basically made it unpleasant and unsafe.
