MVLA teachers are best paid in state

According to data released by the state Department of Education this month and compiled by the Sacramento Bee, teachers in the Mountain View-Los Altos High School District are the highest paid in the state.

Although it is interesting to compare salary ranges it would be far more effective to compare the salaries of other high school districts. Both the "Mountain View Whisman School District" and the "Los Altos School District" service grades K-8 rather than high schools.

By the articles comparisons the MVLA teachers might be justified in comparing their salaries to local college professors. If they did they would then seem under paid.

I would prefer to have seen a comparison of their salaries to other local high school teachers.

Worth every penny at twice the price! Imagine having to deal with dozen of children five days a week. That is why most couples do not have kids.
