Hey Great

Lets build lots of High Density Housing in downtown without parking so people will be forced to use mass transit and then we can create a vibrant area and collect lots of profit while crime and safety in the area becomes such that people will stay home.

"The VTA will station personnel throughout the county to help passengers navigate the changes." (Really? I didn't see that this morning!) Great first day of schedule Changes! 522 Bus was late by 4 minutes causing connection problems for myself in Palo Alto! Oh Well! Hopefully it won't be this way all the time!

Funny the article doesn't talk about the 40 having cuts in it as well, as for the 40 happens in Mountain View!

Promethis on Drugs: I don't know which Prometheus developments have a history of attracting crime, but the one right here in downtown is hardly a magnet. I also fail to see how building 1 parking space for each 1-bedoom apartment and 2 parking spaces for each 2-bedroom apartment qualifies as "without parking."

Eswierk

Check the police records. oh wait they are not public...
So no one has any real data on the subject.
Lets force Green transit and provide 1500 units without parking, this way everyone will be forced to use mass transit and be pissed off about it, K?

It's a great idea for citizens to voice their opinions, just too bad there's no moderator here to eliminate Promethis on Drugs paranoid, and irratic views. But with that said even he/she/it is entitled under our 1st amend.

Thom: Just to clarify, the lunatic rantings of "Promethis on Drugs" are not being left alone because of his First Amendment rights. Those rights are not relevant here, because this is not a case of government censorship. This is a privately run web site, and we can leave up or take down any comments as we see fit, for any reason.

We're leaving this person's comments alone because so far he hasn't really stepped over the line, as far as I can tell. It's the difference between nonsensical and disrespectful.

Thank you Mountain View Voice for adding the other lines that have been modified!

Which by the way if any VTA "Board Members" are reading, please look into redoing the 104 Route! In 2004 they cut the line from doing the "Charleston/Shoreline" loop, since they didn't have the "Ridership" if they look at putting it back into play, they may have an increase of "ridership" since Google has now planted themselves in that area.

It's a shame that the potential profit that VTA can see with re-routing the route is not even a glimmer in the current VTA "Board Member's Eyes." Not only would this help in the potential income growth but it will also help in the congestion we see in the traffic that comes from that area.

If any Google employee reading the boards here and would like to have a nice commute from Mountain View to the Milpitas Light Rail, then you should voice your voice on here as well! Let's think smart people!

I realize that you have a shuttle that takes you to the Light Rail in Downtown Mountain View, but if you live in Milpitas the 104 bus will help elivate the pain you currently have with the commuting by a car!

Also for the VTA Board members push them to get Translink in, please! Otherwise else, when are we going to have our People mover to take over VTA in the City? ;)

My view are to be nosensical like my name is Promethis on Drugs

It like drinking stuff someone tell you It is good for "you" it will be good for you and you will like it over time.

Now I eat my dinner and the VTA will not be coming today to get me as usual
